This series was produced specifically to advertise Mattel's "Wheeled Warriors" action figure series. The series was a failure and so the show was taken off the air for good.
This cartoon was to have ended with a feature film in which Jayce finally reunited with his father, but because the action figure series was a flop, the movie was scrapped and never produced.
