Audric accidentally creates The Monster Minds (mutated plant creatures)that go on a rampage led by Sawboss and try to take over the universe.Audric creates a plant called "The Magic Root" to destroy them but it splits in two.Jayce(Audric's son)has half.With "The Lightning League" and wizard Gillian,Jayce embarks on a quest to find Audric to make the root whole again and destroy The Monster Minds.

- This series was produced specifically to advertise Mattel's "Wheeled Warriors" action figure series. The series was a failure and so the show was taken off the air for good.
- This cartoon was to have ended with a feature film in which Jayce finally reunited with his father, but because the action figure series was a flop, the movie was scrapped and never produced.
