Eccentric, strong-willed professor and single mother Grace does her best to raise her two sons, teenage Jack and youngest Bobby. Bobby is destined to become President of the US in 2041. Interspersed with flash forward interviews of the future president's staff, the story follows Jack and Bobby and the events and people that shape their lives in the fictional small town of Hart, Missouri.
