Dave Chappelle flew from his home in Yellow Springs, Ohio to New York City to appear on the show. He chartered a private flight at his own expense. He was supposed to arrive at the studio at 7PM but his plane was delayed in Buffalo, New York. Episodes of Chappelle's Show were shown to the audience until 9PM. Audience members were then allowed to leave and were told to come back at 9:30PM. Chappelle arrived at 10PM. The taping of the episode went until 2AM the next morning.
