  • Episode 10 - Ricky tells Lucy and Ethel that their fare to Europe will cost $3000. $3000 in 1955 is the equivalent of $24,848.69 in 2011.
  • Episode 03 - Episode #5.03 ("Lucy and the Dummy") ended up three minutes short of the required running time. For its original airing, CBS filled the gap with a clip from _Guys and Dolls (1955)_ (the "Adelaide" number).
  • Episode 23 - Actor Franco Corsaro spoke English as a second language. To learn his lines, Franco memorized all the lines including the other actors. This can bee seen on the train when the other actors yell "Has she ever considered acting?!" Coraso can be seen mouthing their lines in
  • Episode 05 - Sam McDaniel plays the Porter on the train. He is one of the only African American's to appear on the series.
