Even through this was the last episode of 'I Love Lucy', it ended with the announcement "Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz will be back next week". However it was about 6 months before the first "Lucy-Desi-Comedy-Hour" was broadcast.
Before the dedication ceremony begins, Ethel is tending to a little boy. In reality, the little boy is Desi Arnaz Jr., Lucy and Desi's true-life son. Next to Desi Jr. is not his real-life sister, Lucie Arnaz, contrary to popular belief.
