Bob Lowry couldn't imagine anyone but Hank Azaria playing the part of Dr Craig Huffstodt. Indeed its Azaria's favourite role of his own.
The pilot was recorded in Vancouver, but the remainder of the show was filmed in Los Angeles.
Oliver Platt wasn't who producer Bob Lowry had in mind to play Russell. Hank Azaria recommended him for the role.
