Mistakes/Goofs

Goof (factual errors): Robin refers to Canadian coins having the nicknames "Looney" and "Tooney", prompting Barney to sneer that the country's currency sounds like a reference to Hanna Barbera cartoons. In fact, it's Warner Brothers which makes Looney Toons cartoons.

Trivia

In 'The Slutty Pumpkin Returns' Lily tries to convince Marshall to move into her grandparents house by offering to buy him a pinball machine. When he asks where he will position it in the house she replies "You can stick it anywhere you want". This is an in-joke on her Buffy co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar who used the same line under very different circumstances in her film Cruel Intentions.
