Barney Stinson: You can't go now! It's the night before Thanksgiving! College chicks are back in town. Their mom just made a snide comment about the weight they gained. They called her a bitch, but deep down they know she's right. And they're about to walk through that door, where we will be waiting with some light beer and some rock hard approval. WHA-WHAT! U-UP!
Zoey Pierson: Barney was here? I was walking around half naked.
Barney Stinson: Aw Man! Wait which half?

Trivia
- The character name of the original Blitz is Matt Blitz. Matthew Blitz is one of the production staff for the show.
- The method by which the curse of the 'Blitz' is passed from one person to another (a trail of mist going to and from the mouth) is a visual in-joke to the Buffy episode "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (1997) {Hush (#4.10)} were people magically lose their voices in an identical manner.
- At McLarens, Zoey dares Marshall to send a picture of his junk to an anonymous person. Robin calls for everyone to shout out random numbers to which "The Blitz" Jorge Garcia responds with 4 8 15 16 23 24, which were the numbers that Jorge Garcia's character, Hurley, discovers on Lost (2004).
- When Steve "The Blitz" Henry describes being cursed by being the Blitz, he compares it to "being stuck on an island for ages." Jorge Garcia is most famous for his role on Lost.
