Marshall Eriksen: So, funny thing about Willem Dafoe. His name sounds like it's being spoken by a frog, then a parrot. [Demonstrates this] Willem. DA-FOE! Willem. DA-FOE!
Trivia
- The effetely off-color "Constance Frye" song that Will Shortz, Ted (Josh Radnor), Jefferson Van Smoot (Michael York) and Peter Bogdanovich sing at the party is from Trading Places, in which it is sung by Louis Winthorpe III (Dan Aykroyd) and his rich, insufferable friends.
- Barney's rule to Lily and Marshall about not loving the baby more than him is also what Jeremy Sisto's character tells Keri Russell's character in Waitress, which also features Darby Stanchfield.
