MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: In the episode _"How I Met Your Mother" The Sweet Taste of Liberty (2005)_ Marshall said:"... oh thanks, I've never been in a fight before", but in this episode he says that he and his brothers always had fights. Also in that episode he was scared of fighting, but in this episode he wasn't.
CONT: Marshal beats up the barman and narrator-Ted reveals, that Marshal has some fighting experience growing up. Actually, Marshal avoids confrontation and is scared of fights. In episode #1.03 Marshal threatens a man out of jealousy who turns out to be gay and not even interested in his girlfriend and says 'Oh, thank god, I have never been in a fight before.'

TRIVIA

There is a short flashback, Marshall and Ted are seen eating a sandwich while watching a Kung Fu-movie. This references "How I Met Your Mother" (2005) {How I Met Everyone Else (#3.5)} in which older Ted replaces all references to smoking marijuana by describing that he and his friends were eating a sandwich.
