Episode Quotes
Barney Stinson: [Adding to Lily's list of reasons to have sex] Curiosity. As in what would it be like to do it with a really tall girl. Not a big girl, a tall girl. Like if a normal girl were seven, seven-and-a-half feet tall, and had a very short denim skirt, I would have to know what that was like.
Ted Mosby: There is no way that will work on Robin. She'll just laugh at him and throw him out.
Lily Aldrin: [laughs] Maybe she'll kick his ass first.
Marshall Eriksen: [laughs] Maybe she'll shoot him with her gun.

Barney Stinson: The Naked Man is going to revolutionize the one-night stand. It's like the forward pass in football, the slam dunk in basketball, the technique in hair cutting where you put the hair between two fingers and you cut from the top - It's a total game changer!
[More Quotes]Mistakes/Goofs
- Goof (continuity error): Ted's underwear is visible in the scene where he is practicing poses for his Naked man. You can clearly see it left of the lamp which is supposed to cover his body.
- Goof (continuity error): In the beginning of the episode, Ted states that he has walked into very strange stuff in his room over the years. When the goat is shown, the date below says 6 May, while he states in an earlier episode that the thing with the goat happened on his 31st birthday, which is on April the 25th
Trivia
- The bookmarked poem by Pablo Neruda is "Mañana XXVII", the first line of which is "Desnuda, eres tan simple como una de tus manos". In English, that's "Naked, you are as simple as one of your hands". The rest of the poem describes features of his lover's naked body.
- Barney mentions that Mitch, the Naked Man, is like Superman. Guest star Courtney Ford is married to actor Brandon Routh, who played Superman in Superman Returns.
- In "Doogie Howser, M.D." (1989) {Spell It 'M-A-N' (#4.14)}, While Doogie is on a date in his loft, his date references a time she was on a date and her date attempted (and failed) a 'Naked Man'.
