MISTAKES/GOOFS

DATE: In this episode when Lilly is sitting in the bar and when Abby (Britney Spears) comes in to warn Lilly about Barney, the same scenario can be viewed in the episode "How I Met Your Mother" (2005) {Everything Must Go (#3.19)}. We can clearly see that the hair style which Abby portrays in the 2 episodes is different even though it was the same instance in both the episodes - it's a bit curly in this episode, but straight in the other.
CONT: Barney reveals that one of his "crimes", that he committed to one of the women of his past, was stealing her car and driving away from their camp in the woods, leaving her there alone. In an earlier episode "Arrivederci, Fiero" (s2e17) it is revealed that Barney can't drive a car and is, in fact, very afraid of the idea.

TRIVIA

In the flashback section with mugshots of all Barney's possibilities of his stalker you see a picture of Madeleine Albright - which is a reference to 'The Yips' (s3e10). He mentions to Heidi Klum that he "certainly didn't mean to hit that".
As the episode ends, Neil Patrick Harris starts typing at his computer, the theme song from "Doogie Howser, M.D." (1989) starts playing.
