[More Quotes]Mistakes/Goofs
- Goof (factual errors): When Ted and Marshall are driving down the highway in Marshall's Fiero they are on a one way highway, but all the signs are facing the way that they are driving, meaning that no one would see the signs unless they turned the car around
- Goof (factual errors): Marshall states that a homeless man threw up in the back seat. There is no back seat in a Fiero.
- Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When the gang tries to push the car the last 0.7 miles to 200,000 they have trouble; the mechanic says this is because the rear wheels are on blocks. These "blocks" are at best a small platform which, aside from having no realistic place in any garage, wouldn't restrict pushing a car in the slightest.
- Goof (anachronisms): During the road trip a late 2000s GMC Sierra is seen passing the Fiero despite the fact that the trip takes place during the mid-90s.
- Goof (revealing mistake): In the intro when Marshall and Ted hit a pothole the background is static.
