Summary: House and the team take on the case of a medical researcher who is suffering from an unidentified debilitating case that proves life-threatening despite the hospital's best efforts. MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: SPOILER: Cameron uses a scalpel to slice a chunk of skin from Dr Powell's right forearm when he refuses to submit to a biopsy. In the closing scene, his body is being cleaned and there is no evidence of the wound Cameron inflicted.
CONT: When House is about to inject morphine into Powell's body, the amount of morphine in the syringe changes between the shots. The syringe is half-full when House is shot from the front, and only a quarter full when he is shot from behind his left shoulder.
CHAR: After Dr. Powell was awakened from his artificial coma and refuses to be further tested for nerve damage, House secretly touches both of Powell's ankles and we can observe the left leg reacting. Directly after, walking the hall with Foreman and Chase, House talks about "no sensation in the left leg, abdomen, right arm".

TRIVIA

Joel Grey, the actor who plays Ezra Powell, played the Wizard of Oz in the Broadway show "Wicked". As Dr. House examines Powell behind a blanket, House says "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain," a quote from The Wizard of Oz (1939).
