Dr. House shares an address with his inspiration. Sherlock Holmes' address is 221b Baker Street. House lives in an apartment building bearing the number 221b.
When House and Wilson leave House's apartment, the address sign next to the door reads "221B". House's character is partly based on Sherlock Holmes, whose address was "221B" on Baker Street.
