Donna, meanwhile, hears Kieran has been injured – but not to what extent. When his mum calls to say he’s being flown to the nearby military hospital, Elizabeth pushes Donna to visit. But Donna’s not sure if she can deal with what may have happened to the man she might love. It’s Chrissie’s first day of nurse consultant training and Dan is her mentor. However, when Dan emphasises the importance of delegation, Chrissie has a hard time stepping back from the more menial responsibilities.
