Mistakes/Goofs
- Goof (factual errors): Colonel Klink is looking inside his parked staff car and claiming that the vehicle has been driven by the prisoners. His proof? The speedometer reads 30,000 miles. If that were the case, the car wouldn't be in the compound at Stalag 13; it'd be in outer space. The speedometer measures speed, but only when the car is in motion. He should have said that the odometer read 30,000 miles. Odometers measure distance, not speed.
Trivia
- The title is based on the movie The Big Broadcast (1932).
