Episode Quotes

Samuel Sullivan: It's okay, brother. You're safe here.
Sylar: Where exactly is 'here'?
Samuel Sullivan: Home.
Dr. Coolidge: I think this whole filing girl act is finally getting to you.
Emma Coolidge: [signing] Do you follow up like this with all your patients?
Dr. Coolidge: Only the ones who happen to be my daughter.
Claire Bennet: This. This is cool.
Gretchen Berg: Drinking chocolate milk?
Claire Bennet: No, me. In college, in a dining hall with my new college roommate; no snipers shooting at me, no serial killers hunting me - it's a refreshing change of pace.
Gretchen Berg: Yeah, tedium can be such a thrill!
Claire Bennet: I have been chasing normal life forever, and I've finally caught it! I mean, don't get me wrong, the chocolate milk *is* awesome. But right here, right now is full of possibilities. I can be anyone.
Rebecca Taylor: [from behind] Claire Bennet, you can't escape your destiny!

Trivia

  • The children Peter sees in the hospital are singing "Believe It Or Not", the theme from The Greatest American Hero. That show was about a reluctant superhero who wasn't completely in control of his powers -- a common theme with "Heroes".
