Season 2 Quotes

02x04 - Mea Makamae (Treasure) Season 2 / Episode 4: - Mea Makamae (Treasure)

Steve McGarret: Coffee is not a relationship. It's a beverage.
Danny 'Dan-o' Williams: That's not true. Every single relationship starts with a cup of coffee. Then it's dinner and a movie, okay? Next thing you know, you're divorced, you're moving to Hawaii so you can see your daughter every other weekend.
Steve McGarret: You need to talk to someone professionally.
Danny 'Dan-o' Williams: I do. You. And now the sessions over.
02x06 - Ka Hakaka Maika'I (The Good Fight) Season 2 / Episode 6: - Ka Hakaka Maika'I (The Good Fight)

Vitor Boriero: Yo McGarrett. Thanks for taking my spot on the card. Jake wouldn't want the fans to be cheated out of a fight.
Steve McGarrett: It's all for the kids, bro. I'll try to put on a good show for you... Besides, I'm the one who, um, dislocated your shoulder.
Vitor Boriero: Yeah, I didn't forget. Hit 'em hard bro.

Season 2 Trivia

  • Episode 12 - 'Chase Bridgeman' is credited as "The Nerd" in the end credits. But he's referred to as Jimmy in the show.
  • Episode 10 - Second appearance of a Bell UH-1 Huey in the rebooted series.
  • Episode 04 - Goof (factual errors): In the final scene, Steve McGarrett and Joe White are standing outside, in uniform, saluting and "uncovered" - meaning they weren't wearing their uniform hats. This is strictly against regulations in every military service.
  • Episode 07 - In the teaser a Full Moon is shown over the Oahu island. On October 31st 2011, the moon in Oahu was actually in its First Quarter (five days after the New Moon).
  • Episode 14 - Young Steve says that he is in his junior year, which would have made him 15-16 years old at the time of the flashback (1992). This is consistent with the age of 'Alex OLoughlin, born August 24, 1976, meaning that he was 15-16 in 1992, and that would make Steve McGarrett 35-36 for episodes in 2012.
