Summary: At his mentor's request, McGarrett persuades Max to redo the autopsy on a SEAL, thought to have committed suicide, in order to investigate his murder. Meanwhile, Chin Ho worries about Kono hanging out with a group of dirty ex-cops, including Frank Delano.

Mistakes/Goofs

Goof (factual errors): Commander Gutches SEAL patch is of the wrong design.
Goof (factual errors): During the raid of the house, the SEAL members photos are on the wall. The team finds that a Lieutenant Jacks (an officer) is unaccounted for. The photo they show of the officer is that of an enlisted man based upon the uniform.

Trivia

The scene inside the Naval Situation Room where Operation Payback is revealed - the takedown of the Mexican drug cartel as depicted was based on Operation Neptune Spear where members of DEVGRU (United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group) raided the compound of 'Osama Bin Laden' on May 2, 2011 in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
