  • The title of this episode imitates the song "Bye Bye Bye" sung by *NSYNC.
  • When Hannah's brother, Jackson, makes the comment about Joey Vitola not being good even if he wore a "Justin Timberlake mask," it is a particularly cutting insult due to the fact that the actor, Joey Fatone, is a former member of *NSYNC, with Justin Timberlake.
  • In one particular scene, actor Joey Fatone spontaneously begins to dance on top of a restaurant table. This is a reference to his former group, 'N Sync, who were known for their choreographed dance moves.
