  • Episode 05 - Goof (continuity error): When Miranda finishes up her surgery, Ben takes his mask off but in the next shot, it's back on.
  • Episode 16 - Goof (continuity error): The scene shows Webber in bed, in pajamas and wakes up to hear the smoke alarm going off. Webber pulls the covers back and jumps out of bed, next scene shows him running into the kitchen and he's dressed in slacks and a dress shirt, as he's putting out the fire and the smoke alarm
  • Episode 21 - Goof (factual errors): Mer and Christina refer constantly to having "stomach flu." No real doctor would use that term as there's no such thing. Influenza is a respiratory illness; a physician would refer to an intestinal problem as a bug, a virus, food poisoning, a parasite....
  • Episode 08 - Every episode is named after a song. "Heart-Shaped Box" is a song by Nirvana.
  • Episode 07 - Goof (continuity error): During the softball game, Mark's girlfriend, Julia, is on 1st base. McDougall hits a home run, clearing the bases. However when Lexie goes in to relief pitch, Julia is still on 1st base.
