Even I'm a dude and a late starter on that show, it held me captive for the last 6 days and I managed to actually watch all episodes in that timeframe. Never thought it to be possible to sit and watch like the entire 2nd season non stop. Well defined characters and plots, thought sometimes it seams unreal and to much, but hey, what do I know about the upper east side of NYC. The only thing negative to me is the sometimes unbelievable naivety and blindness for the obvious. Btw. Isn't the legal drinking age in NY 21? So, why do these kids drink alcohol everywhere and all the time? Even if this is common in this society, does it need to be displayed to the rest of the world. If I would sit after work with a beer on the beach, just one (like I do here in Switzerland), I might get arrested, but nothing ever happens to these kids in the entire show, not once and not even from there parents. Is this real? Please!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is the update- specially to the producers: Just came past S04E08-09 etc. Are you guys on drugs? Up until now, I really did love this show, but now- Star Trek is more real life and Dumb and Dumber has more sense than all of this. No questions asked from anyone before admittance. I start to feel, like the writers make enough money and now they can take anyone for a ride. I just hope season 5 gets back to what it was in the first 3, otherwise you should cancel all together, it's just getting silly. No one believes this anymore, an upper east side billionairess get's blackmailed just like that from a common girl? Come on!!!!! Keep it as closed to real, as you can, plz! At the very least, the build-up the the revelation is way too long, which makes this the worst piece of writing in the history of TV drama. |

This is a fantastic show more oriented to girls, but I would say that a lot of male friends of mine watch it and really love it. amazing story, original, good characters and of course CHUCK BASS! |

The special. Is kind of silly. Just something to air because of the writes block. some unaired scenes. The cast telling us about the characters. Some bloopers at the end. And a whole lot of repeting same things throughout the episode. With that said. I have to say: that Gossip girl is great! I really love the show and I think it's something different :) |

Gossip Girl is the best show that came out this year next to Greek. This writer's strike is really pissing me off. They need to get over themselves and start coming up with new episodes. |

There are no new episodes until the writers strike is resolved, the new episodes are written, and then produced. In other words, a long time, maybe never. |

For like a second, I had a feeling it was starting to be a little to much like the O.C but it's still keeping me interested... I'm expecting something fresh for the next episodes though... Or someone new.. Like the father's new girlfriend, should be interesting. |
