Summary: The Debutante Ball is coming up, which Serena does not want to attend, but her grandmother CeCe does not like the idea of that and demands that she attends. Serena of course wants Dan to be her date but again, her grandmother has something to say, and objects to Dan being her escort saying that he is in no way a suitable. Jenny tries to decide if she is to visit her mothers art opening or attend the Debutante Ball. Blair who is also attending the ball decides to go with Nate, but just as friends but Nate begins to think that Blair may already be seeing someone.
