Summary: Though being on again, off again for the past few weeks, Dan and Serena finally admit to one another that they are crazy about each other, despite their many differences. Chuck debates ways to make his father, Bart, proud. Nate confronts his father about drugs that he stumbles upon, but The Captain denies having a drug addiction. Meanwhile, Jenny uncovers a secret that her parents have been keeping and Blair is crushed when she learns that Nate accidentally kissed Jenny.

Chuck Bass: I had the idea. I did the work. He tells me I can't be committed and he's the one screwing 25 year olds, when he's supposedly committed to you.
Lily van der Woodsen: We're newly committed as recent as last week.
Chuck Bass: I wonder why he was pawing some asian chick in his limo yesterday.
Lily van der Woodsen: How could I be surprised really. Excuse me.

During the last episode of season 2, Serena & co. work out that Gossip Girl must be a student in their year. During Victor/Victrola's make out scene between Dan and Serena, a girl going up the steps says 'Hey, Serena - get a room'. We don't see her face, only a pair of black patent leather boots. However, this girl has the same voice as Gossip Girl's voice over - has the indiscoverable been discovered at last?
Chuck has previously stated in the second episode, "Gossip Girl" (2007) {The Wild Brunch (#1.2)}, that he had admired Serena for sleeping with her best friend's boyfriend. In this episode, Chuck sleeps with his best friend, Nate's, (barely ex-)girlfriend (of 20 minutes), Blair.
