Paul McDermott, the acid-tongued cherub of satire, is the host of one of Australian TV's most successful satirical news-based comedy quiz shows, Good News Week. It originally ran from 1996 to 1998 on ABC1, switching to Network Ten from 1999 to 2000. However in 2008 it returned to Australian TV screens.
