- The Kim Gatlin novel on which this TV series is based is titled not "GCB" but "Good Christian Bitches." That title was also originally given to this show's pilot, but was then changed to "Good Christian Belles" before promotion of the show started, but then changed again to just the ambiguous abbreviation "GCB".
- David James Elliott and Grant Bowler both played the character of Wolfgang West. Bowler in the original NZ "Outrageous Fortune" and Elliott in the short-lived US adaptation "Scoundrels".
- Jennifer Aspen wears a fat suit throughout the series for her character (Sharon Peacham) to appear overweight.
- The restaurant chain Boobilicious is a parody of the Hooters of America franchise. In Texas, the Hooters of America franchise is known as Texas Wings headquartered in Dallas, Texas.
