Goof (anachronisms): The story is set around a student that is going off to college in the fall of 1986. However, within the first minutes of the pilot there is a clear and static shot of Camry that did not come out until (at least) 1987 in that body style.
Goof (anachronisms): Near the end, one of the fraternity brothers is wearing a Callahan Auto Parts t-shirt, but that is from Tommy Boy, which wasn't released until 1995 (and this takes place in 1986). They seem to have realized their mistake as in the next scene he is wearing the same shirt, but the words are blacked out.
