- After this pilot was taped, the production of the show was moved from CBS Television City (where "All in the Family" (1971) and all of its previous spin-offs were produced) to Universal Studios with an all new production and writing staff. This did not sit well with 'Carroll OConnor who refused to take part in the revamped pilot or the series in any way.
