SPOILER: In the "diva-off," Rachel sings the duet "Take Me or Leave Me" with Mercedes, from the Broadway musical and movie Rent. Idina Menzel, who plays Rachel's biological mother, also performed in the film and play as Maureen, who sang half of the same duet.
