Summary: Ginger, Mrs. Howell, and Mary Ann were kidnapped, and the kidnapper wants ransom money. The kidnapper is a compulsive gambler who left civilization ro avoid temptation. The castaways try to rehabilitate him, though he eventually ends up leaving the island.
