Goof (revealing mistake): In "The Friendly Physician" (#2.29), Balinkoff took the castaways to his island, transposed their minds and they ultimately freed themselves and transposed Balinkoff into a cat (and vice versa) and Igor (seen in "Ring Around Gilligan" as a monkey) into a dog (and vice versa) before leaving for their island. How, months later, has Balinkoff gotten back to human form? Had "Ring Around Gilligan" aired first, it would have made more sense as the castaways barely get a glimpse of him in his motor boat as he flees from them when they hurl coconuts at him at the end.

The title comes from from the Wisk laundry detergent advertising campaign where the unfortunate man with the dirty shirt would be humiliated with someone shouting "Ring around the collar!"
