Summary: The castaways have a visitor from space! The visitor isn't alive, but could very well effect their rescue. The castaways' radio tells them that a rocket, which has landed on the island, is erroneously believed by scientists to be on Mars. The rocket has a TV camera which scientists hope will tell them something of the distant planet. And the castaways hope the camera will alert the scientists to their plight! The Professor begins repairing the camera, which has been slightly damaged upon landing. But one of the most important parts, the lens, is lost. Luckily, Gilligan finds it. However, Gilligan causes more havoc than happiness as usual when he breaks the camera's lens! The castaways eventually appear on the rocket's camera, but not as they planned.
