Produced by Thames Television this British sitcom, A spin-off of from "Man About the House", aired from 1976 to 1980. The Ropers, George (Brian Murphy) and Mildred (Yootha Joyce), are an ill-matched married couple. The comedy arises from their differing views on life and how it should be lived. It was written by Brian Cooke and Johnnie Mortimer.
