- In "Orson's Diner", when Roy is describing his complex order (for the #8 sandwich), he mentions at the end of his order that he wants a pickle "in the shape of Muncie, Indiana." Muncie, Indiana is the hometown of Garfield, Jon and Odie, as well as the birthplace of the Garfield comic strip creator Jim Davis.
