Game of Thrones is a superb fantasy drama set in a well thought out fictional world. There are many people, families, clans, tribes and kingdoms all trying to do better for themselves either with or in spite of others. There is war and magic, myth and legend, honour and subterfuge around every corner. The series itself is shot on location all over the world with an enormous cast that gives the feeling that you're watching a movie blockbuster rather than a TV series. This is by far one of the best things on TV today. 10/10 |

I like the show's storyline and characters but I could just as easily like it with less sex and gory violence. |

Terrific series. I'd categorise it as mild fantasy but heavy on the political drama. Fantastic! |

A beautifully made show. It stays true to the books as much as possible and the cast is perfectly selected. Cannot wait for season 2! |

I love this show. I read the 1st book in the series as i watched the show. stopping before i reached the end of each episode in the book. Now i need to decide if im going to read the second book before the show airs . any thoughts??? How enjoyable was the show if you already knew what was going to happen? |

I have not read the books, but what I love about this show is that you can never really tell what's going to happen next. That is extremely rare. The main characters are all uniquely complex, and we get to follow them as they evolve throughout this expansive world that is Game of Thrones. Brilliant! HBO does it again. I never read the books, but I was hooked on this show after the very well made pilot episode. Two thumbs up from me so far. |

Never been as excited for a show as I am this. Will of course post a review once it is released, but I hear they are already talking a second season. Everyone should add this to their watch list. |
