Mistakes/Goofs

• Goof (continuity error): During the first couple of scenes in the courtroom, Monique (the robot actress from All My Circuits) is clearly seated behind the Donbot's family. However, when the jury is shown on screen, she is also seated on the jury bench. She remains on the jury through the whole trial, but by the end of the scene, she disappears from her original seat behind the Donbot's family.

Trivia

• When the crew finds Bender on the Old West planet and try to convince him to drop character, Bender says his name is Billy West, which Fry declares is a silly made-up name. Billy West is the name of the actor who provides the voice of Fry, among several others.
• A building on the moon reads "Aldrin's Gulch" after famous astronaut Buzz Aldrin. Aldrin would provide a voice cameo later in the season.
• Although the Space Pope has been a recurring character throughout the series, this is the first time he actually speaks. We learn that he has an Italian accent, despite being a reptilian.
• When the crew travels to the moon they meet a robot named Billy West. Fry then comments on how the name sounds fake. He is voiced by voice actor Billy West.
