Summary: Bender is declared the new Santa when it is discovered that the evil Santabot has been frozen in a block of ice on Neptune. But when Bender begins delivering toys, the citizens, who are unaware that Santa is now a good guy, stage an all-out assault against him. Just when things can't get any worse, the evil Santa's icy tomb thaws and he escapes to exact his wrath upon the world.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: When the shrimpy Neptunians go to deliver the mail, the tops of their hats are chopped off. A short time later, while Santa is turning off the TV, their hats are fully intact. In later scenes the hats are cut again.

TRIVIA

The Christmas episode "A Tale of Two Santas" was originally slated to air in December of 2000, but was deemed too violent for the show's Sunday 7pm timeslot. However, the episode finally aired a year later on December 23, 2001 at 9:30PM (Eastern Standard Time).
The conveyer belt has three speeds: slow, fast and Lucy, a reference to the super fast conveyer belt at the chocolate factory that Lucy worked at in "I Love Lucy" (1951).
