Episode Quotes

Fry: [about an Abraham Lincoln robot at the asylum] Let me guess. He thinks he's Abraham Lincoln.
Unit 2013: Well, he's supposed to, but he has multiple personalities. All of them Lincoln.
Abraham Lincoln Robot: I was born in 200 log cabins.
Hermes Conrad: Fry, don't be a hero. It's not covered by the health plan.
Roberto: Hey, Red. You're just in time for the hostage situation. Which side do you want to be on?
Fry: The side that kicks your twisted, metal ass.

Trivia

  • Bender has a human heart in his compartment. This could be a reference to _"Futurama" Anthology of Interest II (2002)_ where Bender tells the group that he needs a human heart to pump blood out of his basement.
  • In keeping with the idea of artificial intelligence having the capacity for insanity, the subtle reference to the movie 2001 is the fact that the robot nut-house is called the "HAL institute."
