Trivia
- Bender has a human heart in his compartment. This could be a reference to _"Futurama" Anthology of Interest II (2002)_ where Bender tells the group that he needs a human heart to pump blood out of his basement.
- In keeping with the idea of artificial intelligence having the capacity for insanity, the subtle reference to the movie 2001 is the fact that the robot nut-house is called the "HAL institute."
