Summary: When the Planet Express crew lands on a previously undiscovered plant, they find that it is covered in a new and delicious animal life form which they call "popplers". These edible and highly addictive "popplers" soon become a new business venture for the crew as Earthlings just can't seem to get enough of these delicacies. The dreaded Omnicrons reveal just what these "popplers" actually are, and seek restitution for Earth's "poppler" consumption.

CONT: When the Omicronians are seated at the table near the end of the episode, NdNd appears and vanishes from her chair between shots.
SYNC: SPOILER: When Leela licks her fingers after the Poppler first talks to her, she makes five sounds. She only has four fingers.

TRIVIA

This is the second time Earth has been invaded by Omicron Persei 8 in the show's history, the first time because they didn't get to see the end of an airing of a favorite TV show.
This is the first introduction of the Waterfall family, a family dedicated to political and social activities to promote various extreme agendas and doomed to die when involved with the Planet Express crew. In this case, Free Waterfall Jr. is eaten whole by Lrrr (with side effects).
