Episode Quotes

Morgan Proctor: Regarding last Monday's delivery, why was it 3 days behind schedule?
Leela: Well, first we got lost, then Fry got his head stuck in a crater.
Fry: [sadly] I thought it would fit...
Bender: I'm Bender, baby! Please insert liquor!
Hermes Conrad: [a letter comes in on the mail tube] Great gorilla of Manilla! A letter from the Central Bureaucracy.

Hermes Conrad: "Attention, Hermes Conrad. You are about to receive a letter from the Central Bureaucracy."

Hermes Conrad: [Shocked] Oh, my God! It's from the Central Bureaucracy!

Mistakes/Goofs

  • Goof (continuity error): SPOILER: When Hermes finishes the sort-n-file 2 seconds early and is demoted as a result, his badge starts at 38 and changes to 36 and back to 38. It should have started at 37 and changed directly to 38 (or glitched and changed to 36 then 38).
  • Goof (continuity error): When Morgan Proctor inserts her Bureaucrat rank badge into Hermes' electronic name placard, her name appears on it, in lowercase letters. When an argument occurs later in the episode, the name is in all uppercase letters.
  • Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): LaBarbara's hover car comes to a stop accompanied by the sound of squealing tires despite the fact that the car has no wheels.
