Futurama - 01x02 Episode Two: The Series Has Landed

Summary: The Planet Express crew receives a package to deliver to the moon's amusement park. Fry can't wait to spend the day there at Luna Park, so the crew begrudgingly caters to his excitement needs. Leela even takes him on the Lunar Rover ride for a chance to see the real moon, but this proves to be unsatisfying. Fry derails the car from its track to really experience the moon, but the two run into some unexpected trouble. Meanwhile, Bender gets thrown out of Luna Park and runs into some trouble of his own with a farmer's robot daughters.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

FACT: When outside the Apollo 11's lunar module, Fry compares his boot print to the famous print who he says belongs to Neil Armstrong. However, the famous boot print that he was comparing his boot to belonged to Buzz Aldrin.
FAIR: Leela and Fry find the site of an original moon landing but the lunar module is still intact. In reality the body of the module launched back into space leaving only the legs behind. However, it clearly states inside the lander "Lander returned to this site by the Historical Sticklers Society".

TRIVIA

First appearances: Amy Wong, Dr. Zoidberg, and Hermes Conrad.
Although the lunar lander shouldn't be in one complete part, the entire thing (and the flag) is still there. This is explained by a plaque inside the lander that says: "Lander returned to this site by the Historical Sticklers Society".
Arcade games at Luna Park include Mortal Kooperation (a Mortal Kombat parody), Dodecapede (A Centipede/Millipede parody), and Gender-Neutral Pac-Person (a parody of the Pac-Man franchise.)
References an early French film (A Visit to the Moon) when Bender sticks his beer bottle in Craterface's eye.
