Summary: Olivia dreams of herself committing murders halfway across the country, and the team discovers that, while no one is actually causing the incidents, they are happening as Olivia has seen them. The team discovers that another person treated with Cortexiphan, Olivia's "buddy" in the drug trials, is unwittingly transmitting his intense emotions and causing others to act on them. While Olivia does not remember him, he remembers her, having nicknamed her "Olive." Olivia non-fatally wounds him so he does not commit suicide with a large group, and he is placed in a medically-induced coma to contain his emotions. Walter watches a video of Olivia as a child, apparently taken during the time she was being administered the drug. Walter's voice is heard on the tape, as is William Bell's. Both are trying to calm Olivia down and there appears to be damage to the equipment in the room.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

FACT: The train station in New York City is identified in the floating caption as "Grand Central Station." Grand Central Station is actually a post office; the correct name for the train station is Grand Central Terminal.
FAKE: About halfway through the episode, Olivia and her team enter the home of the suspected serial killer. When she examines a wall covered with photos and articles, she focuses on an article titles "Genetically Modified Children, The Future of the Super Human Race". If you pause the video and read the text of the article, you'll find that it is actually about risks associated with people tracing others cell phone numbers. Either this is meant to be a mistake in the printing of the newspaper, or more likely, the prop department pasted the headline on some arbitrarily-chosen newspaper clipping, assuming that no one would read the text of the article.

TRIVIA

When the Fringe team arrives at the building in New York where Nick Lane has stationed his "hostages" around the top of the building, The Observer is seen crossing the street as they approach that building.
In Nick Lane's flat there is a wall filled with clippings. In the midst of this mass of clippings is a sheet of paper on which the number 47 is written. The number 47, besides being a prime number, has been attributed as being a random number which occurs with unusual frequency and so has a certain mystique. There is a perhaps humorous mathematical proof of this by Pomona College's math professor Donald Bentley. Regardless of this purported mystique, the number has been used in "Alias" (2001), another J.J. Abrams project, as a central plot device for the series.
When Walter Bishop reviews the video tape of an incident involving Olvia Dunham as a child, we hear the voice Leonard Nimoy.
