MISTAKES/GOOFS

FACT: Ross, Chandler and Joey purport to attend a New York Rangers-Pittsburgh Penguins NHL hockey game in October of 1994. In reality, a labor dispute canceled the first half of the 1994-95 NHL season, and no NHL hockey was played until January 1995.
CONT: This is one of three episodes where Ross tells someone his birthday. The only problem is that it's never the same day, or even month.
CONT: When Rachel is sitting around the coffee house with her old girlfriends, right before the scene changes, it flashes to Rachel and her hair looks different.

TRIVIA

Per the title, George Robert Stephanopoulos was a senior political adviser to the 1992 U.S. presidential campaign of Bill Clinton, later became Clinton's communications director and is currently (2009) ABC News's Chief Washington Correspondent.
When Phoebe, Monica and Rachel were out on the balcony, Rachel knocks her pillow over the edge. That wasn't really supposed to happen, but they left it in anyway.
