MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: Frasier is in the kitchen after dinner getting dessert ready. In the first scene, the pastries he places on the counter are not powdered with sugar. In the next scene he starts powdering them, but they are already heavily powdered, despite Frasier only sprinkling on powdered sugar for a couple of seconds.

TRIVIA

This is one of Kelsey Grammer's favorite episodes. On "Cheers" (1982), Shelley Long didn't like the Frasier character and lobbied hard to get Grammer removed from the show. The producers disagreed, noting that the audience liked him. When Long's character of Diane Chambers appeared on this show, Grammer said the episode was an opportunity for he and Long to make peace with each other.
