  • Jack Davenport and Sonya Walger both starred in the television show Coupling (UK). Davenport in the UK version and Walger in the short lived US version.
  • The flashforwards show the characters visions of what may or may not happen on April 29th 2010. April 29th is the birthday of Robert J. Sawyer, the author whose novel the show is based on.
  • Right after the name 'FlashForward' is shown at the beginning of each episode, you get a glimpse of an image you will see later in that episode.

  • When Benford and Noh are on a stakeout early in the first episode, a billboard can be seen in the background advertising "Oceanic Airlines", the fictional airline whose Flight 815 crashed on the island in the TV series Lost. Later, Janis shows Wedeck the new rendering by NSA of Suspect Zero that shows the man had a ring in his finger. In the final scene, we see six rings, but it is not yet revealed that *they* are the Quantum Entanglement Devices.

  • Seen playing on a television screen in this episode is the BBC's production of A Christmas Carol (1977) (TV), featuring Sir Sir Michael Hordern as Scrooge and John Le Mesurier as Marley's Ghost. Shot in color, on videotape, the footage appears to be 'broadcast' in black and white. Even more bizarrely, the voices of Hordern and le Mesurier (both English actors, speaking English) have been overdubbed in English by other actors.
