This show tried to utilize the Supreme Court in the same dramatic manner that West Wing utilized the White House. It focuses on the nine Justices who lay down the law for the US. Joseph Novelli is the newest member of these nine and with an even division between Conservative and Liberal, the "moderate" Justice Novelli becomes the tie-breaker.
