My son bought the Firefly boxed set and we have spent some quality family time enjoying it. Why on earth would Fox cancel this fabulous, entertaining series? The casting is wonderful and the story line is so unique. It would do t.v. viewers justice if this series was brought back. What a great series! |

Absolutely excellent show! This is a space, western, scifi, comedy, drama mashup that is always entertaining. Fox originally aired the show out of order so when you watch it make sure you watch the episodes in the intended order. My favorite episode of the series is Jaynestown but there really isn't a bad one. The writing is Joss Wheadon at his best and the acting is superb. After you have watched the series and fallen in love with it (trust me, you will), make sure that you pick up the movie Serenity for the continuation (I hate to use the word conclusion on a masterpiece) of the story. There were also some comics released in the Firefly verse as well that shouldn't be missed by any hardcore fan. I have introduced this show to many people (even people that HATE scifi) and have never had anyone say that they didn't like it. 9/10 Stars DON'T MISS IT!!! (could have been a perfect 10 if it was allowed to continue; damn Fox network) |

What a great series. The ratings must lie. This one was worth a second look, season, movie take off. I wonder where they all went after this? It was really hard to pick a favorite after watching these. |

One of the best sci-fi shows i have ever seen, every episode is fantastic,all the characters are awsome, Exceptional writing with my kind of humour!!! Loved serenity but still wish the show was not canceled! just another example of a truly great show not getting the seasons it deserves! Ahhhhh god damm its awsome!! |

Love this show. It kinda gave me the Millennium Falcon feel. They're the "good" "bad guys". Great cast good story. Got nothing bad to say about this one. Firefly is my default show. When ever I've got nothing to watch. I find my Firefly DVDs. And enjoy. |

This was one of the most original shows to come to television in a very long time. Creater Joss Whedon never fails to impress me with his original stories, a well depicted characters, but this show went above my expectations. Unfortunately since it was on Fox, it was also a short lived show. I can only hope we see more of it through future Serenity movies. |

I may be biased, but Firefly is one of the best shows to ever hit television screens--and the most underserved cancelled show of all time. Joss Whedon's Chinese-influenced space cowboy universe is full of complex characters you can't help but love. The cast had an energy and chemistry that jumped off the screen. The settings, effects, and all other imagery were phenomenal. It is one of the most imaginative shows you will come across, and mourn the loss of. |

A great show.This show proves agin Joss whedon Is one of the best writersProducers(a shame Hollywood keeps screwing him over) Nathan Fillion could be the next harrison ford,and as with Buffy and Angel you have great sexy women who can act too.Summer Glau,Morena Baccarin,Jewel Staite,Gina Tores. This again proves what a bunch of Idiots run Fox. |
