Summary: Peter takes Quagmire to the airport for work and messes things up, causing Quagmire to lose his job as a pilot. Quagmire cant find another gig, so Peter and Cleveland devise a plan to help him get his old job back. When the plan flops, Quagmire receives advice from his idol, Hugh Hefner, which leads him to save the day

MISTAKES/GOOFS

SYNC: The airplane Quagmire has to instruct to land at the end of the segment uses jet engines, yet the engines are clearly making the noise of propeller-driven propulsion (although this is possibly a deliberate reference to the film Airplane! (1980), in which the same thing happens.)
CONT: When Peter lands the jet and it comes to rest at the end of the runway, all the passenger windows are missing.

TRIVIA

The TransNational Airlines jet that Peter manages to land is a Boeing 737-700.
The title is based on the series of Airport disaster movies that began with Airport (1970) that were based on the novel "Airport" by Arthur Hailey.
This episode was not fully approved until the Thursday before it first aired.
The Thai women were all voiced by Cherry Chevapravatdumrong.
