Family Guy - 04x27 The Griffin Family History

Summary: When there's a stir downstairs in the middle of the night, the family runs into Peter's panic room to escape the robbers. Now trapped inside until they are rescued, Peter tells the story of the Griffin family name. Starting all the way back to the caveman era, to his black slave ancestry. Meanwhile, the family chooses Meg (big surprise) to sneak out of the panic room and alert the police.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: When Peter is telling the story of Nate Griffin he says that Nate and his family escape on a cart being pulled by a white horse. The horse starts out white in color but for a brief moment when the shot changes the horse is brown. When it flicks back again, the horse returns to white.
CHAR: When Stewie criticizes Peter for not liking the Godfather although he had not seen the ending, Lois says she agrees with Stewie. Until that statement, nobody had ever understood a word Stewie said, except Brian.
FACT: When the Griffins are arguing about The Godfather (1972), Chris mentions that Robert De Niro is in the film. He is not; he plays young Vito Corleone in The Godfather: Part II (1974).

TRIVIA

The argument caused between Peter and his family by his dislike of The Godfather (1972) has basis in real life. Series creator Seth MacFarlane (who also voices Peter) is one of the only people on the staff who doesn't like the movie.
While explaining the family history, Peter says that Nate Griffin was only a slave name, with his real name being Richard Bachman. Richard Bachman is the pseudonym used at times by Stephen King (I) for his novels.
If we would assume that Peter's story about Nate Griffin is real, it would mean that Peter and Lois are actually related.
